Being a Black Male Today

What is happening to the Black Males today. I remember when I was in summer school and there was an article on relationships between the Black Male and the Black Female. I said then and it has come to be correct. We as Black men have become a dinosaur.  Either we are placed in prison or we kill each other over a color.

We as Black males have to decide if we are going to fight for our rights that is stated by law. When we do we are label as a Black with an attitude. That we are out of control and is really difficult to deal with by others.  We have to decide if we are going to change in order to support our family. I have been placed in this position. I was fired from a job because I spoke out and it cost my job. I have been Blackballed and I might lose my home. One of the adminstrators told a future employer if she hired me that she will no longer get referrals from the state. This caused me to go into depression and feeling that I cannot provide support for my family.

I do not understand why the ones that are trying to do what is right appear to be the ones that has to suffer. While the Whites that has gotten into trouble still works for the agency.  What is this saying are Black Males expendable  and can be treated in any way just because we are Black, The sad part is no one that can make changes gives a dam. We were told as children that we must be strong and God does not give you more than you can handle. We are constant fighting for what we believe is right. Do our families have to suffer because we are fighting the system. A system that appear does not care as to what happens to us as Black Males.
